The Off Saddle Hotel in Ixopo has been burnt to the ground.
This is the oldest licensed hotel in Natal.
The article reports that the fire started in the Kitchen tannie marie probably left oil on a flame.
Oh well while the hotel was burning there is a liqour store attached to it so the people decided to start stealing the liqour in a bid to save the flames from getting to out of control. Well at least they had their priorities straight I bet klippies shelves were emptied in Seconds.
The owners of the hotel and staff had removed furniture from the burning building and placed it in the street.
They watched as a woman ran up and stole a TV, running away with it down the street.
